Allstar are Newcastle's newest and hottest act. The boys have had experience in a multitude of styles and genres including pop, rock, jazz, country and musical theatre. They produce a band like sound with a mix of smooth, powerful harmony vocals, inspiring guitar work and great light show. Allstar play a blend of popular classics and modern music. These boys really do rock the house. If you’re after a great night you can’t go past Allstar!

BACK2ROCK

If you want a night of no non-sence rock then “Back 2 Rock” is who you need to book. Steve and Gary originally started working together in 2000 when they formed the duo Father & Son, But when they got together and changed the look and repertoire of Father & Son they knew they needed a name that best describes what they do!

END OF AUGUST

END OF AUGUST Do you need a musical act for your wedding, function or venue that stands out from the crowd? Originating from the Central Coast, acoustic covers duo END OF AUGUST have been heavily involved in the music industry for the last 12 years as singer/songwriter/guitarists and performed hundreds of functions during the past 3 years. As the front man for original Sydney band “Field Day”, Jason has been able to perform to the masses locally and nationally in venues around Australia “spreading the love!” Jason’s ability to write music that captured audiences in turn helped “Field Day” sell in excess 5,500 copies nation wide, and found him touring around Australia with the likes of The Whitlams, The Superjesus, George, Iota and Human Nature, with airplay on Triple J and majors. Bob Allen was in fact born cradling a guitar and has been heavily involved in the originals and covers industry of NSW, as lead vocalist and guitarist for “Coastal Front” and “Caution” as well as widespread session work for established original and covers bands. As owner of Central Coast Guitar Tuition he has immersed himself in the industry writing, performing and playing to appreciative crowds.

GAYLE O'NEIL

From an early age Gayle had stars in her eyes. She started learning guitar at the age of 10 on a borrowed guitar, when she finally got her very own guitar @ 14, she couldn’t put it down. Gayle’s family always had a touch of wonder lust and as result saw a lot of the Australian countryside. Those country experiences and the people she met planted the seed of Country Music that continues to grow to this day. From those early homemade family concerts Gayle graduated to performing; as a teenager, at numerous Charity Dinners, Church functions and Weddings around her Central Coast NSW base. These gigs proved to be a great experience for young Gayle and would certainly stand her in good stead in the future. Gayle hasn’t always been a songwriter but in 1995 her life took a turn she wasn’t ready for when she fell in love with her now husband and wrote her first song “Bein With You”. She continued writing her own songs and re-setting her goals. Life took over again and for the next few years Gayle continued to write and keep her finger in the pie so to speak.

GARN PAKI

Garn began in the music industry upon migrating from New Zealand to Australia in 1984 where he developed a greater passion for music and began as a soloist entertaining as a singer musician across the Central Coast, Sydney and Hunter regions at times playing as Duo or Trio with two of his brothers The Paki Brothers.

Growing up Garn was greatly influenced by the Motown sound including artists such as Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Jackson 5  and the R&B bands of the seventies. Over the years he has broadened his repertoire to include some of the timeless classics through to today’s contemporary artists.

NOTHING SACRED

Brent has been playing guitar professionally for over 20 years and took up the lead vocalist role in ‘95 when he put together ‘The Max’, a 4 piece covers band that performed regularly in Sydney for 18 months, booked through Southbeat Promotions. ‘98 saw Brent join Sydney duo ‘GTS’ as lead guitarist and lead vocalist making this one time trio a very successful duo performing in Sydney venues such as the Coogee Bay Hotel, Orient Hotel and Surf Rock Café to name but a few. After 6 years with GTS Brent decided to continue working as a solo performer. He worked solo through Sydney booking agency The Sphere Organisation through ‘05 and ‘06 before moving to the Central Coast and joining local lads Rocwater. Robert has been playing drums and singing in many successful cover bands throughout his professional career and last played in a Central Coast based band called ‘The Pulse’, who were well supported by venues such as Central Coast Leagues Club, Wyong Rugby Leagues Club, Key Largo at the Crowne Plaza to name a few. In recent times Robert has taken up playing a middle eastern drum called the ‘Darabukka’ or Dumbek. He cut his teeth on this instrument learning middle eastern rhythms enabling him to accompany his partner who is a local bellydance teacher and performer. Robert soon discovered the potential of this versatile instrument and adapted more mainstream, traditional rhythms to extend his performing repertoire.

KOTADAMA

Brothers Chris and Evan Brown were raised on a rural property on the Central Coast of NSW Australia. Both being homeschooled, they've had opportunities to develop many interests from horse riding, competitive ballroom dancing and trading the stock market... In late 2006, while sitting for the Higher School Certificate or University Entrance Exam, Chris taught himself how to play the guitar and keyboards and convinced his brother Evan to teach himself to play the drums. The band Kotadama had begun! Kotadama is a Japanese term which means “Spirit of words” and was chosen by the boys as it represented what their music was about. Towards the end of 2007, at 19 & 21 Chris and Evan began writing and performing their own songs. With their exposure to home schooling, combined with extensive travel across Australia, the two brothers developed a relatively wide perspective of the world. After having several recording sessions at various well known Sydney studios, Chris and Evan still weren’t satisfied with the finished product. They converted a disused farm shed into a very effective recording studio, and began producing their songs. Towards the end of 2008, Chris and Evan began recording their first album, “Dichotomy” and acquired the help of two other friends to perform live (Clint Fish and Scott Mallard).
